Robert A. Johnson is a partner in the law firm of Mitchell, Bruder & Johnson. Together, we have over 92 years of combined professional legal expertise that we draw on to zealously represent clients throughout Minnesota in the fields of personal injury, wrongful death, civil litigation, criminal defense, family law, probate, and estate planning.

Rob has practiced exclusively in personal injury and wrongful death cases since his admission to the bar in 1979. Through individualized service and dedicated advocacy, he obtains fair and just compensation for injured clients.

Robert A. Johnson, Attorney

Rob Johnson was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After graduating from DeLaSalle High School in 1969, he attended the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. Rob graduated from St. Thomas in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in History and Social Studies. After graduating from St. Thomas, Rob worked as a high school history/social studies teacher and football and basketball coach. Rob entered law school in 1975. Since graduating from William Mitchell College of Law in 1979, he has been engaged in the private practice of law, specializing in personal injury and wrongful death cases. He has tried cases in Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka and Dakota County District Courts and has also served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association on numerous claims involving no fault automobile insurance benefits.
